Finále is a competitive and comprehensive overview of Czech feature-length films. Some years ago the Czech documentary competition was also introduced. During one week, the complete full-length feature film production and a selection of the most successful and interesting documentaries will be screened in traditional screening venues. The whole film week is completed by screenings of further Czech films in various sections and retrospectives, accompanied by discussions with interesting filmmakers.

Further excursions into the history, presence and future of Czech cinematography are prepared in the framework of festival accompanying events - in both traditional and new sections. Again we will commemorate the significant anniversaries of several jubilees, distinct achievements of Czech cinematography, film school profiles and discussions on various film topics. The panel of upcoming films remains the unique event of the festival program. Individual filmmakers will present their film projects whether in initial stages or postproduction. Among non-film accompanying events, there will also be concerts, exhibitions and interesting meetings reminding all that the main festival city of Pilsen is at the same time the city, which gave its name to beer.
