Finále is a competitive and comprehensive overview of Czech feature-length films. Some years ago the Czech documentary competition was also introduced.
Feature Competition
The deadline for entry forms is January 31, 2010. Films entered in the competition are judged by an international jury.
Only Czech feature, animated or combined films or films made in a Czech co-production which had their distribution premieres between April 24, 2009 and April 22, 2010 are eligible to enter the competition.
Documentaries competition
The deadline for entry forms is January 17, 2010. The subsequent selection of films for the competition will be carried out by the programme board, the programme director's advisory body, by February 15, 2010 at the latest. Films entered in the documentary competition are judged by a specialized international jury.
Only Czech films or films made in a Czech co-production that were produced between January 1, 2009 and January 1, 2010 and did not participate in the selection of films at 2009 Finále are eligible to enter the competition. The documentary film competition takes place in one category regardless of the length of documentary.
