| Studied at the Theatre and Film Academy in Bucharest from 1996-2000. His short student and documentary films won awards at a number of film festivals. He drew most attention in 2000 with his short film Fragile, which won a number of awards at festivals in Romania and abroad. In 2008 he began to study on a doctoral programme at the Theatre and Film Academy in Bucharest. | |

In 2011 Festival Finále in cooperation with Jan and Ivana Lukeš published already the fifth book of the Finále Edition. It has been dedicated to Vlasta Chramostová and Stanislav Milota.
