A popular children's cartoon based on books by Václav Čtvrtek. The first series was made in 1967. You definitely know Rumcajs, but did you know that Rumcajs was in fact an honest shoemaker from Jičín? And how the shoemaker became a robber? Yes, Rumcajs was a real master at making shoes - he even made them for the mayor of Jičín, Humpál. But Rumcajs disagreed with the pompous mayor and was thrown out of the town. In the forest of Řáholec he became a robber.
