PRACTICAL INFORMATION

FESTIVAL CENTRE

· as we already mentioned the festival centre is located in Měšťanská beseda
· address: Kopeckého sady 13, Plzeň
· GPS Loc: 49°44’39.317“N 13°22’35.886“E
· arrival and parking: if you plan to arrive to the festival on your own, we will send you information about the access to the building later on – as there are changes planed on April in transport in Pilsen, the appropriate authorities will inform us about the access roads and possibilities of parking later on – please ask you contact person for details
· in the festival centre we will give you all the necessary information about your further stay on our festival including accreditation and the accommodation voucher, thus your first steps should lead to Měšťanská beseda

FESTIVAL TRANSPORT

Same as in previous years the festival guests may use a shuttle service Prague (Zličín) - Pilsen.

The shuttle will be prepared at 10 a.m. and at 3 p.m. at the final station of underground line C - Zličín. Coming back to Prague after the main evening screening around 10 - 11 p.m.

If you wish to use a shuttle please contact the Festival Transport coordinator – Ms Irena Benešová: +420 602 426 674 .

Navigation to a shuttle:
1. get out of the underground station
2. turn left
3. use the underpass
4. cross the street (stop lights)
5. turn left and wait at the parking
(in case of an unfavourable weather wait in the shopping centre near the entrance)

The festival cars are marked with a logo of Finále 2009.
 
 
It is also possible to agree with the GUEST SERVICE on a transport of invited guests from the centre of Prague - the car will pick up guests after agreement on the square Karlovo náměstí in front of the Raiffeisen bank:


 
 
FURTHER FESTIVAL SERVICE

In the framework of the festival Guest Service we also offer:
· possibility to have a press box, where you can get the most up-to-date information, programme amendments, changes, invitation to events (in case you are interested in having a Press box please contact the Guest Service department)
· possibility to rent and watch video tapes and DVDs in the festival video room – we offer the competition films as well as unique pieces of the Czech cinematography available only at our festival
· the press department will issue a number of press releases about the festival events during the festival; in case you are interested in having the most up-to-date festival news, let us know, we will include your e-mail address to our mailing list
· we offer you a free internet access in the festival centre during the festival week.
