Zuzana Piussi Slovakia director |
| Born in Bratislava. Since 1992 she has worked with the theatre Stoka, for which she has designed sets and costumes. She has also worked with a number of other Slovak theatres. She studied directing at the Faculty of Feature and Documentary-Making at the VŠMU in Bratislava. In 2005 her medium-length documentary The Angels are Crying (Anjeli plačú) premiered and was successfully shown at a number of festivals in Slovakia, the Czech Republic and further abroad. She works with both Czech and Slovak television, last attracting a significant amount of attention in 2009 with the docudrama Grandmother (Babička). | |

FINÁLE EDITION
In 2011 Festival Finále in cooperation with Jan and Ivana Lukeš published already the fifth book of the Finále Edition. It has been dedicated to Vlasta Chramostová and Stanislav Milota.
